Sarah Covey- Owner/ Tutor/ Consultant

Sarah is a licensed special education teacher.  She graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. She earned her Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Colorado, Denver.  She has worked in many settings including public schools, charter schools, and private tutoring environments. She has experience with students with a variety of needs from mild learning disabilities to significant intellectual disabilities, students on the autism spectrum, students with ADD/ ADHD, and students with emotional disabilities.  She is especially passionate about what is often called ‘soft' skills such as time management, social interaction, organization, and emotional regulation.

Additionally, she has years of experience coaching other teachers including general educators working with students who struggle both with and without disabilities as well as special educators. She has experience leading professional development, 1:1 coaching, and problem-solving on a large and small scale, as well as creating resources to support professional educators in various settings.
